If your business needs its software and database hosted in Australia, we can build that into the project from the start.
Where it runs
We use Microsoft Azure, with the software and database in an Australian region. We can deploy into your own Azure account or manage the hosting for you. We agree on the setup and who is responsible for it before launch.
If your system connects to services such as email, payments or AI, we'll work through those separately with you. The location of the main database is one part of understanding where information goes.
Your data belongs to you
You retain ownership of your business data, with direct database access and the ability to export it. Hosting and data ownership are separate from the software licence, which we explain in the project agreement.
Why a client needed it
A telecommunications services client needed its system hosted in Australia and connected to its existing ticketing software. Both requirements were part of the build from the beginning.
Looking after the setup
We document the hosting setup and keep its configuration in code, so it can be recreated consistently. We agree on the ongoing maintenance, monitoring and support as part of the project.
