I'm Simon, the developer behind Ranges Studio in the Macedon Ranges. We build websites and software that help businesses serve their customers and get things done. You'll work directly with me, from the first conversation through to the build and ongoing support.

For a clearly defined project, we can quote the build once we've talked through what you need. More involved websites and software projects start with a short, fixed-price piece of work to understand the requirements and try out an approach.
Build it and look after it
You can see the work as it takes shape and give feedback along the way. We also look after websites and software over time, with support, fixes and improvements as your business changes.
The experience behind the work
I'm Simon Hobman. I've spent 27 years building websites and software, including membership platforms and online stores handling 30 transactions a second for customers across Australia.
Ranges Studio is our family business in the Macedon Ranges, Victoria. We work with clients on individual projects and ongoing development. Getting to know the people behind a business, and seeing the work make a difference over time, is a big part of why we enjoy it.
We use AI tools as part of development, alongside our own experience, review and testing. We take responsibility for what we deliver, and you can call me when you need help.
